Translation Kit
Simultaneous
translation may also be provided using the kit in the picture. It
is usually used for smaller audiences. The big plus is that it does
not have to be installed in advance, as no wires are needed. It is
especially suited for small rooms where a translation booth cannot
be set up. The interpreters therefore do not work in a booth but sit
somewhere in the room and do the simultaneous translation in a very
low voice. The audience receives the translation through standard
receivers and headsets.
It is less expensive than the traditional simultaneous translation
equipment and it is recommended for meetings or events of about 50
participants, on-site factory or company inspection tours and the
like.
