Translation is basically an art ?that of correctly interpreting the message of the source language and conveying it in the target language with its intended meaning. In order to meet this aim, it is essential to have a mastery of both the source language and the target language. Translation is an art that requires not only a sound education and background but also a wide experience in several fields and in the proper use of each language.

Technical Services and Equipment

Equipment for simultaneous translation with booth and sound system
This is the traditional system for simultaneous translation. The interpreters sit in a booth with acoustic insulation and translate what the speaker is saying as he or she is speaking. The audience gets the translation simultaneously through wireless receivers and headsets.

Portable Translation Kit
Simultaneous translation may also be provided using the kit in the picture. It is usually used for smaller audiences. The big plus is that it does not have to be installed in advance, as no wires are needed. It is especially suited for small rooms where a translation booth cannot be set up. The interpreters therefore do not work in a booth but sit somewhere in the room and do the simultaneous translation in a very low voice. The audience receives the translation through standard receivers and headsets.
It is less expensive than the traditional simultaneous translation equipment and it is recommended for meetings or events of about 50 participants, on-site factory or company inspection tours and the like.

Videoconferencing systems
Through our strategic alliance with Branko S.A. we are in a position to provide you with everything you need to organize and set up a videoconference. Either high definition satellite connections or digital ISDN service may be used. We can also provide specially fitted videoconferencing halls.

We will also be happy to provide you with all the ancillary technical equipment necessary for a successful meeting:
